Deadmau5 has taken some time away from his intense legal battle with Disney to do a solid for one of his fans.
Aspiring DJ and massive Deadmau5 fan Zac Campbell was robbed, beaten, stabbed and bitten following a DJ set, and when Deadmau5 caught wind of his unfortunate situation he sent out a goody bag with a Macbook Pro, Ableton Live 9 and a Traktor S4.
The outspoken producer took to his Tumblr blog to explain poor Zac Campbell’s situation:
“He’s been a fan, member of the horde for quite some time… and we look after our own, so… after eyeballing the gear you had, we’ve decided to get you some upgrades to help you back on your feet….
“Sending out a shipment for you today! New 13” macboook with some goodies that will get you back on the decks, and producing some music…. (got wind from a friend of yours, thanks heather, that you wanted to get into production)”
Zac is said to be on the mend, and this shipment from the Mau5 himself will surely put a beamer on his face.
